I currently live in Indianapolis with
my husband, Steve, three dogs, two cats
and a bird. We would eventually like to
relocate the menagerie to warmer climates
(like Tucson, Arizona) but for now the
Indianapolis community has been
incredibly nurturing for my
creative endeavors. My life is too
busy, but the most important
part of it (besides Steve)
is my photography.
My passion for photography has taken
me a long way in a short time.
I have been doing some
work in Senior and children's portraits
and weddings. I take assignments to
edit and print photos. I have
been displaying my personal work
in local businesses and enjoying the
acceptance I have experienced.
While continuing to practice
and hone my craft, I am also honored
to be teaching classes at the
Indianapolis Art Center
in Broad Ripple on Beginning Digital
Photography and Photoshop.
My goal is to go into photography
full-time. I am interested in stock
photography as well as fine art
and nature work on top
of the portraiture with which
I am currently working.
I enjoy using Photoshop CS4 and I
have been managing and printing
my own and others' photos on assignment
with my Epson R1800 and Pro 3800
printers. Combine this with Steve's
framing and matting business and the
future looks exciting indeed.
